2 Bed House in Chelmsford with a 5% return...

Mid week and we are on to 2 bedroom house number two for the week. This cottage I thought looked to be a good option. The only thing I would say is that a couple of the rooms, could benefit from a more neutral carpet and wall colour. Nothing too drastic though.

It's come to the market this week with an asking price of OIEO £230,000. It's not too far from the town and it's freehold, so we are ticking some of the buy to let boxes!

Similar properties have rented in the region of £950 and there is an immaculate one on the market for £995 at the moment, so if you went mid way at say £975 pcm, you could be looking at a potential annual yield of 5%, providing you get it for £230,000. And being freehold, means you haven;t got any service charges etc to orry about!

If you would like to pick my brains on any aspect of the Buy To Let market, feel free to pop in for a chat at our office in Duke Street
