Chelmer Village Mid Week deal

This lovely little house has just come on to the market, these houses are very desirable and always rent very easily in the region of £675 pcm, which based on an asking price of £155,000, will give you a return of 5.2%

There's not much to do to it either, it has a fairly modern kitchen and bathroom, which is always important to tenants, may just need a bit of a clean up or maybe freshen up decor, but that's not too much to worry about.

Best get in there quick!

Deal of The Day in Chelmsford.

3 Bedroom houses are hard to come by at the moment in the rental market, there's not many around and when they come to the market, they get snapped up straight away, so to me this house that I have spotted in Noakes Avenue in Chelmsford, looks like a good option to me. if you are looking for a buy to let property.

If you have a look at the details, it looks to be in fairly good condition, the kitchen and bathroom look to have been recently fitted, (always popular with tenants). Click on the link below for more details

This house is on the market for £249,995, just below the next stamp duty bracket, (although if you can get anything else off the price, it makes the deal just that little bit sweeter!) You would look to achieve rent in the region of £1000 pcm for this type of property. Based on the asking price, this would generate you a gross yield of 4.8%

I would get in touch with the agent advertising it straight away if you are interested as this type of property will get snapped up very quickly!

Monday deal of the day in chelmsford with a 6.2% return!

Back in after the weekend and after logging on to Rightmove this morning, I spotted this property that has come on to the market in the last couple of days.

The apartment is very well presented and looks as though it is ready to go, which is great and with an asking price of £129,995, it's cheap as chips, although I reckon there's got to be a deal that can be done. Due to it being close to the stamp duty bracket, you should be able to get it for £125k.

Even basing it on the asking price though, the return you could get would be 6.2%. This would rent in the region of £675 pcm, especially given it's condition. (check out the link for full details)

The good ones get snapped up quickly though, so get down to the agent to register your interest.

High Yields in Baddow

I don't normally push a property that isn't close to the City centre, but this one I thought was a little bit special and worth a mention. Although only a 1 bedroom maisonette, not only does it have parking, but also a decent size private garden, which is pretty rare for this type of property. It's not going to attract a City commuter, but there are plenty of other types of tenant out there.

It is on the market for £144,000 with Duffield Stunt, I suggest that if you like the look of it, you best contact them pretty sharpish.

I would suggest a rental price of £675, which would generate you a gross yield of 5.6%. I would check with the agents to see what other charges there would be to take into account as this property is leasehold.

Great apartment on Lockside Marina

A great find in Lockside Marina. A great location for a rental; property, tenants love it here. They are high spec apartments and aren't that old so they still have that 'new' feeling.

It's just come on with a local agent, I don't anticipate that it will be around for long though, so get your viewing arranged asap.

Down to the nitty gritty now, on the market for £199,995, you would be looking at a rental price of £895 pcm. We just rented one out in a nearby block for this money and it flew out the door. So without getting it any cheaper to start with, you are looking at a return of 5.2%

The full details are on the link below and definitely worth a look
